Gettin’ the goods: Collection Development Seminar will be held on Thursday 13th November 2008, at the Max Webber Library in Blacktown. This seminar is for children’s and young adult librarians and collection development staff with an interest in building collections for young people. The Committee have planned this seminar to consist of fairly short and lively segments with plenty of punchy comments and illustrations. We have tried to shy away from formal papers and preachers, hoping to achieve a high level of interaction and leave plenty of space for engagement.
This Blog will function as Seminar HQ, you will find all the seminar paperwork and details here, as well as papers, powerpoint presenentations, pictures and many collection development tools. Have a look at the lists of links and let us know of any useful tools we have missed.
